S.M.A.R.T. stands for Students Migrating Academically on the Right Track. The purpose of SMART is to follow federal requirements that establish electronic Certificates of Eligibility (eCOE) for students of migrant families. SMART Mobile is a full-featured version of SMART Web, designed with features that allow the Migrant Education Program (MEP) workers the ability to interview families and students in remote areas, typically without internet connectivity. Secured, automatic data synchronization occurs when the device is reconnected to the network.
